Mohegan Lake Pest Control

Mohegan Lake's lakefront character creates a distinctive pest environment. The lake itself generates significant mosquito pressure from late May through early October, affecting all properties within a quarter mile of the waterfront. Older cottages along the lakefront—many dating to the 1940s–1960s—have gaps and aging construction that provide easy entry for mice in fall and winter, and moisture conditions in older framing that attract carpenter ants in spring.
