Mount Eden Pest Control

Jerome Avenue's commercial corridor to the west — with auto repair shops, fast food establishments, and the elevated 4 train — generates food waste and underground infrastructure that sustains large rodent populations. These rats and mice migrate eastward into Mount Eden's residential blocks, particularly in fall and winter when outdoor food sources diminish. The 4 train's Jerome Avenue el infrastructure, with its supporting columns and below-grade utility work, creates additional rodent harborage near the commercial strip. Bed bugs are a recurring problem in the larger apartment buildings throughout Mount Eden, and ants invade ground-floor units each spring from cracks in the sidewalk and foundation perimeter.
